Does my child need speech therapy?

If you’re not sure if your child may benefit from speech-language therapy, contact Twin Cities Speech Therapy for a free screening. Remember, there is no penalty for being cautious about your growing child, and if there is a problem acting early can make all the difference! 

Where do speech therapy sessions take place?

Could my child benefit from private speech therapy in addition to school services?

Do you take insurance?

 

Twin Cities Speech Therapy is a private-pay clinic and does not bill insurance. We are able to provide what's called a Super Bill that you can submit to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you. Twin Cities Speech Therapy can not guarantee that services will be reimbursed by your insurance company and is not liable.You  provided with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider or your healthcare flexible spending account for reimbursement. 

 

What type of payments do you accept?

 

Twin Cities Speech Therapy is a private-pay clinic. We accepts debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo.

Twin Cities Speech Therapy is currently providing services in the Minnetonka Lake area including, but not limited to Minnetonka, Wayzata, Deephaven, Excelsior, Minnetonka Beach, Shorewood, Woodland, Tonka Bay, Greenwood, Orono, and more! Twin Cities Speech Therapy is always growing, please email our clinic to see if we are currently able to provide therapy services in your area! 

We have found the most success when therapy happens in the child’s natural environment. Speech therapy sessions are conveniently provided in your home or at your child’s school or day care program. 

How often are speech therapy sessions?

 

Speech therapy sessions are typically offered in 45 minute session durations with weekly or bi-weekly session frequencies. However, durations and frequencies are based on the specific needs of each individual client.

Yes! Many children participate in therapy at Twin Cities Speech Therapy in addition to receiving school-based therapy. Twin Cities Speech Therapy also evaluates and treats many children who do not meet the strict criteria needed to qualify for school-based services. Many children who do not qualify for services in the school may still benefit from therapy services.
